LAR - Eric Weddle S is in concussion protocol - took a knee to the head in game
JAC - plan to rally round 6th round draft pick Gardner Minshew - he played okay yesterday
MIA - Cb Xavien Howard will not be traded this year, and may be the ONLY no trade candidate on the team
SF - Tevin Coleman is getting an MRI on his injured ankle
BAL - Cb Jimmy Smith is getting an MRI on his injured knee
NFL - Broken Collarbones for Nick Foles( out for quite a while needing surgery) and Tyreek Hill(could miss a few weeks) and Devin Funchess(unknown severity for now)
NYG - HC is having a bit of a tantrum since he played Daniel Jones some yesterday - he has said it was just a good time to do so, uh yeah..
KC - Patrick Maholmes has an ankle issue - said he rolled it during the game
MIA - neither Ryan Fitzpatrick nor Josh Rosen was very good yesterday - so Fitz gets the start this week per HC
ATL - starting ROG Chris Lindstrom may have a broken foot
DAL - supposedly contract work with Dak is imminent per Jerry Jones - after that last game it will also be more expensive :D
BAL - Lamar Jackson had a comment for those who questioned him after throwing for 5 TDs and 300+ yards - not bad for a Rb huh? Maybe try a real defense other than Miami....HUH?
TAM - Jameis Winston throws two pick sixes as Tampa loses - not a great way to get a contract extension Jameis
LAC - chargers win, and now we hear rumors of Gordon returning by week 6 - 8 - he has to play by week 10 I believe to accrue FA
IND - just saying, Indy didn't look to bad with Brissett at Qb. Talent will win, and make for great games.
CLE - Baker Mayfield had x-rays done on his right hand, x-rays were negative but he is in a wrap
NYJ - Lb C.J. Mosley is hurt with a groin injury, severity is unknown for now
CLE - LOT Greg Robinson was kicked out of game for MMA style kick to the face of S Vaccaro - bet a suspension is coming on this one
JAC - Add Myles Jack to that after clearly punching Wr Robinson of KC in their game
 
Jags and Steelers have traded - Jags send 2020 5th round pick to Pittsburgh for Joshua Dobbs Qb - this pending Foles to IR
 
Jags to place Foles on IR, will be unable to return until after 8 games so can't return until week 10 or 11 depending on bye week
 
WAS - team is getting a ton of flack from its players and fans for deactivating Adrien Peterson in the Philly game - probably could have helped protect the lead....
NE - Brady not happy it leaded out he offered his house to A.Brown to stay in til he is settled. Per reports evidently it was Brown's agent who did. This is the kind of thing that starts the ball rolling.....
WAS - DL Jonathan Allen is diagnosed with a sprained MCL - getting MRI to see how bad the sprain is
PHI - DT Malik Jackson has a significant foot or ankle injury and is being assessed for how much time he will miss

OT Greg Robinson is not expected to be suspended for kicking S Vaccaro in the head
 
Coach Zac Taylor said Joe Mixon has an ankle sprain.
Mixon looks to have a low-grade sprain after getting rolled up on in Week 1. The Bengals are calling it a day to day injury. It sounds like Mixon is going to miss some practice time. Giovani Bernard had a workhorse role after Mixon went down and would be on the RB2 map if Mixon ends up sitting this week.

WAS - D. Guice - knee injury is a meniscus issue and is expected to miss a few weeks.
SF - Tevin Coleman has a high ankle sprain, is week to week
CLE - Baker Mayfield has a minor wrist injury to his passing hand, but not expected to miss time
PIT - JuJu Smith-Schuster has a toe injury, but x-rays seem clear and will be day to day
DAL - close to deal with Dak
CAR - Greg Olsen has a minor back issue and is day to day
PIT - expected to resign Devin Hodges Qb for depth since they dealt away Dobbs
NYG - Sterling Sheppard in concussion protocol
SEA - TE Will Dissly suffered a set back with his recovery from his knee injury from last year....so may miss games
ARI - signed OT Jordan Mills
OAK - Cb Gareon Conley suffered a scary injury last night, but HC Jon Gruden said he is okay, no idea of how long he will miss time though
HOU - traded the boat to get OT Laremy Tunsil, and the team gave up 6 sacks and lots of hurries. I am officially putting HOU HC O'Brien on the HOT SEAT!
LAR - just saying here.... Lack of using Gurley in Playoffs was thought to be knee, but HC McVay said it was him, now Goff's lousy performance last week was not Goff's fault but his on play calling..... so my question is, why do folks think he is all that??
 
In a not surprising update - MIA is having a mass run on calls to agents to get them the hell out of Miami...... No this is not another hurricane coming.
 
CLE - Uh Oh, OBJ is getting his Antonio Brown on - so evidently he thought it would be cool to wear a $350K watch while playing, which is a league violation, but now says he is going to wear it this week again, even though league says they are going to address it. Can we please turn the Diva dial down on the Wrs this year?
 
The watch company will pay his fines and reap the publicity. Odell gets to keep his name in the paper and show himself to be the punk he's become.
 
PHI - Malik Jackson DT is out for season due to lys franc issue in his foot
NYJ - have signed Sam Ficken as their new kicker
 
  • Bucs coach Bruce Arians said Peyton Barber remains the team's starting running back.
  • Darren Waller played 55-of-55 snaps in the Raiders' Week 1 win over the Broncos.
    "We're going to get the ball to Waller," coach Jon Gruden said Tuesday when commenting on Waller's 7/70 performance. "Waller's special." Say what you will about Gruden, he offered candid assessments of his players during the offseason and lived up to many of them on Monday evening. Waller is going to be a top-two target for the Antonio Brown-less Raiders, and has the looks of an every-week TE1 in fantasy.

KC - Tyreek Hill expected to miss 4-6 weeks due to shoulder issue
WAS - Look for Adrian Peterson to be activated for Washington this week - duh
OAK - First round draft pick S Jonathan Abram has a torn rotator cuff and labram and will have surgery - likely out for the year
DEN - Wr Tim Patrick out for a while (6-8 weeks at least) with broken left hand
SEA - Lb Mychal Kendricks sentencing has been delayed again until Nov. 21st
HOU - promoted Qb Alex McGough off of PS, this was not due to injury to Watson, but more Jax tried to sign him after Foles injury - which forced the trade for Dobbs by Jax
ARI - placed ROT Marcus Gilbert on IR due to knee injury
 
DAL - Wr Tavon Austin is not practicing today, having some concussion like symptoms still
NYG - have re-signed Wr T.J. Jones for depth as Sheppard is still in concussion protocol
NYJ - Sam Darnold out of practice today ill - rumored to be strep throat
 
A.J. Green (ankle) is out of his walking boot and ran on a treadmill Tuesday.

  • Sterling Shepard (concussion) is not practicing Wednesday.
    Shepard has been experiencing concussion symptoms since after the Week 1 loss to the Cowboys. He remains day to day, but his week isn't off to a good start in terms of his availability against the Bills. If Shepard sits, the Giants would be down to Cody Latimer, Bennie Fowler, and T.J. Jones at receiver. Evan Engram and Saquon Barkley would carry the lion's share of the load.

  • Coach Zac Taylor said Joe Mixon (ankle) remains day to day.
    Taylor hinted Mixon may not practice much this week but could still play against the 49ers. He said the goal is just to get Mixon ready in time for Sunday. It could be a week full of DNPs ahead of a game-time decision for Mixon. Giovani Bernard would be an RB2 in the event Mixon is unable to play.
