Ocho and T.O. departure equals drafting of AJ Green or Julio Jones?

Jordan Palmer acknowledged that Bengals players are "kind of assuming" Chad Ochocinco and free agent Terrell Owens will not be back in Cincinnati for the 2011 season. Owens' exit is a given. Ochocinco won't be at workouts led by the younger Palmer next week, and signs point to the Bengals shopping him after the draft. Beat writer Joe Reedy believes the team will end up with A.J. Green or Julio Jones at No. 4 overall.

With J.Shipley showing he is starter material moving forward will make Ocho and-or T.O. expendable, if Cincy could score either AJ Green or Julio Jones what WR duo Shipley and either one would make

Cincy likes Shipley in the slot. The plan as it is now would be Simpson and Caldwell outside, shipley in the slot. Assuming they do jettison Ocho(Which I just don't buy....), then they have to draft another Wr to get depth. Letting Briscoe go last year was a big mistake in my opinion. Getting a Green would be excellent. He and Simpson on the outside really will give the new Qb lots of toys. Add in Shipley and Caldwell, plus the stud Te. I also hear rumors of more plays for Scott at Rb to get more screens and drop offs.

But here is the thing. Ocho is on contract for this year. I could be wrong here, but I don't buy they are getting rid of him. Just not their M.O.

Julio Jones or AJ Green would be excellent picks for Cinci. They should jettison Ocho ASAP, IMO. But they will probably shop him and try to get something in return. Otherwise, if Phic is correct about him being on contract this year, I don't see him getting released without something in return.

Caldwell, Simpson and Ocho are on the last year of their contracts. That is why everyone feels they need to take a Wr. Not saying they don't, but I don't see them losing Simpson or Caldwell. I do think eventually Ocho will be gone, and I don't see them trying at all to re-sign owens.
