NFL QB situations, and what could or could not happen

PFT is now running a story of sources saying a non-approved NFLPA agent is reaching out to teams to get them to put an offer up for Lamar Jackson. Which would be a no-no per NFL rules. But, the report states he is willing to take a not fully guaranteed deal and Lamar is ready to walk away from Baltimore

2 1sts and 45 million a year for a QB who isn’t a very good passer? Hard pass.

Once Lamar loses that burst that makes him special running the ball, game over.
He actually isn't a bad passer. He has some issues, but I also state that could be due to lack of tools to work with other than one HUGE TE.

Actually, IF I am Indy, I trade back to Raiders - let them take the young QB, or even Washington, then go all out for Lamar. The value gets even greater that way.

He isn’t a “bad passer” doesn’t make me want to go out and spend draft capital and give a huge contract 😏

He can look really good for a game or two and then reverts back. He’s below average as a passer IMO. Not the absolute worst but certainly not in the top half. If he wasn’t an amazing runner, he would be fighting for a job as a back-up.
