Following players skipping mandatory camps for now - Terry McLaurin, T.J. Watt, Hendrickson. Kirk Cousins and James Cook have arrived at camp

Bengals #1 pick Shemar Stewart is there for camp, but continues to not practice due to lack of contract

Anthony Richardson went to LA to get his AC joint rechecked and their is no timetable on his return.

Same AC joint that caused him to miss most of his rookie season

PFT has a report that its just a rest issue, but no one is clarifying what the issue really is and why the same shoulder he has surgery on is back to causing him an issue.

Dolphins Ramsey and Jonnu Smith are not attending mandatory camp - Jonny says he wants new deal or trade and will sit aside until move is made

Patriots have placed OL Wes SchWeitzer on reserve/retired list - he was just signed as a UFA this year

Per Aaron Rodgers it was Pittsburgh or not play - he talked to other teams, but was only interested in playing in Pittsburgh.....

Niners say Brandon Aiyuk is in the middle of his rehab, and will probably be placed on active PUP list. Might not make start of the season either.

Jalen Ramsey was excused from mandatory camp, as the HC stated he is not expected to be a Dolphin.

Don't love that for the Rookie
Harvey will be fine. Dobbins taking Estimes role and should be out for the season by week 5.

ETA: 429 carries in 4 years. Not sure why this year will be any different. He was basically on the scrap heap and Denver gave him a cheap contract full of incentives. They drafted Harvey to be the man. I don't think Dobbins changes anything.

Except that wasn't the case last year. Lest you forget, Dobbins was on fire early in the season, and while he still missed time late in the year, he put up his best season as a pro. Reduced workload situation in Denver means it's more likely Dobbins carves out a role that eats into Harvey. This was probably the best landing spot for Dobbins from a meaningful fantasy standpoint, and it does ding Harvey in the short term.

Depends on how you look(ed) at Harvey. If you see him as a Kamara type, which I do, I don't see much change. If you viewed him as a workhorse, then yeah, it's a hit.

As far as Dobbins, he did start 2024 on fire, which he had 4 runs of over 60 yards in his first 50 or so carries. After that, not so great. Averaged 3.6 YPC in 2nd half of season. Part of the reason the Chargers went out and grabbed Najee and paid him almost double of what Dobbins ended up getting.

Agree it is probably the best destination for Dobbins , but not thinking it will affect Harvey much since he will probably max out about 200 carries regardless and should maintain the same expectation in the passing game.

What you continue to miss is Payton saying he will use consistently multiple backs including Esteme more. This signing merely makes the situation bad for all of them

Yeah, he’s gonna play Estime and McGloughlin over the guy he drafted in the 2nd round and is raving about lol

Do you read? He is raving on all of them. Seriously
No he’s not.

He said Earime needed more carries and then he went out and signed Dobbins. It’s called coach speak. Everyone is great. We loved Estime so much, we drafted Harvey early and signed Dobbins. Denver RBs had the most yards in the NFL before contact last season and were dead last in yards after contact. Thats why they averaged about 4 yards a carry behind a top 3 OL last year.

Even Bolles (Denver tackle) was talking up Harvey, referring to him as a “dawg”.

Also, the Jets will split carries between Breece, Allen and Davis is you believe their coach.

It’s all coach speak always, what’s frustrating is you only listening to one side. Why sign Dobbins at $5 million + ? I can spin this just like you

Well, Dobbins signed for 2.5 with incentives. Half of what Najee got. Pretty cheap contract for Denver. Haven't seen the incentives clause but good signing for them from a real football standpoint.

Not listening to only one side but when they signed Dobbins, that was Estimes death sentence. It's Harvey and Dobbins barring injury. If Payton thought highly of Estime, one of Harvey or Dobbins wouldn't have happened.

Rumors of Travis Etienne's decline have been greatly exaggerated.

At least, that's how Liam Coen sees it. The Jaguars head coach has been effusive in his praise for the running back and shut down the thought of Jacksonville trading Etienne elsewhere, telling reporters such rumblings are "absolutely inaccurate."

"Everything we've asked him to do, he's done at a good clip for us," Coen said of Etienne on Monday, via Jacksonville.com. "I mean, the ability in the screen game, to hand him jet sweeps. His vision, so far, in the run game has been good. He's done everything we've asked him to do, and more. There's been a consistency."

Interesting story - so Steelers had preferences with QB, they wanted Stafford, but Rams decided they did to. Fields didn't like the Steelers offer(low ball) so signed with Jets. Per HC McVay, the plan the Rams had was to go after Aaron Rodgers if they did deal Stafford. Meanwhile since Steelers missed on Stafford and then Fields they locked on Rodgers.

Raiders agree to terms with FA LB Germaine Pratt

Per Schefter at ESPN - Shemar Stewart the #1 pick of Cincinnati has left mandatory camp due to no contract and having issues with clauses the Bengals are requiring - this isn't a money thing per say, but the default of the entire contract vs. a certain period if there are off field issues.
