New info:

Former Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez was acting erratically, body-slammed a truck driver who then stabbed him in Indianapolis because he feared for his life, police say.

A 69-year-old truck driver, parked at a hotel loading dock to collect used cooking oil, was confronted by Sanchez, who claimed the truck couldn’t be there, citing the hotel manager.

Sanchez, smelling of alcohol and slurring, climbed into the truck’s cab, ignoring the driver’s protests.

New footage shows Sanchez following the driver, blocking his access to the truck, and shoving him. Mark then threw the driver against a wall and to the ground.

The driver, fearing for his life, used pepper spray, which briefly affected Sanchez, and when Mark went at him again, the driver stabbed him two or three times in the chest.

Sanchez was stunned and fled the scene, and was hospitalized with critical injuries.

Sanchez has since been arrested for battery, unlawful vehicle entry, and public intoxication.
