Vikings linebacker Jordan Hicks underwent a procedure Sunday night and remained hospitalized Monday after developing compartment syndrome in his right leg following the team's 27-19 victory over the Saints, coach Kevin O'Connell said.

In the wake of Hicks' injury, the Vikings are planning to re-sign four-time Pro Bowl linebacker Anthony Barr, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter. Barr spent eight seasons in Minnesota after becoming the Vikings' first-round pick in 2014. He played for the Dallas Cowboys last season. The move indicates that Hicks' injury will sideline him for a more extended period and perhaps make him a candidate for injured reserve.

Bills fire OC Ken Dorsey
Good first step. Josh Allen looked confused and distressed last night. They could have run the ball down Denver’s throat last night. The two RBs averaged over 8 yards per carry. Buffalo is so much more talented than Denver but McDermott got soooooo out out coached. He needs to go too. That team being 5-5 with losses to the Jets, Patriots and Broncos is just gross.

Allen and Cook fumbled all over the field. That isn't the coach's issue.
They didn't run, when Denver can be gashed by the run. The two best drives they had was when they ran the ball both with Cook and Allen. Dorsey never focused on improving the run and taking advantage of that O-line to drop the stress off of Allen.

Sorry but it was a coaching issue. Allen still takes too many chances. And yes Cook needs to hold onto the ball, but the one fumble was Allen's fault with a terrible hand off.

McDermott has always wanted more running to take time off the clock, give the Defense more rest, and reduce hits on Allen. Dorsey just wouldn't listen

They are 5-5 and have lost to the Jets, Patriots and Broncos. Yes, it is the coaches issue.

That was Cooks first fumble this year. But yeah, make an example of him for a good play by the DB. But let Gabe Davis slide when the ball goes right through his hands and ends up a pick. Bad coaching.

oh I don't disagree, but you are understating what happened last night. I didn't see Cook's first fumble. The 2nd one was on Allen who dropped the ball before the handoff completed. Hope he got the credit for it on the stat sheet. The 3rd cook fumble was funny, broke a longish run, dropped the ball on the turf and it bounced right back up into his hands without breaking a stride. Coaching aside, the turnovers killed them last night.

I really like Josh Allen and enjoy watching him play, but his body language was bad last night. He looked almost dazed. Thought for a minute he might be concussed. Maybe too many people in his ear wanting the ball. Definitely didn’t look like he was having fun.
