New Cowboy Christine Michael ...Boom Or Bust?

BUST!

My opinion, anyway.

...but I bet he's gone off the ww by day's end.

I'm glad I don't live in Dallas anymore and have to deal with the stupidity of the Jones family.

All off season we have pondered the situation in Dallas. Murray is gone...Best O-Line in the league... Randle ain't the guy.

All off season we have watched as free agent RBs came and went, and with every one we imagined them running in Dallas. From Ray Rice to Doug Martin we have fantasized about who would be great in Dallas.

To date, Dallas has acquired Darren McFadden and Christine Michael.

I can't list ALL the RBs that Dallas passed on but some recent ones were Montee Ball and Terrance West.

I would have taken EITHER of those ahead of Michael and here's why.

Christine Michael, so I hear, has incredible athletic ability but somehow couldn't even beat out Robert Turbin for the #2 RB spot. He was given every opportunity to prove himself and given ample time to do so. Seattle invested 2 years and a spring training in this guy and finally pawned him off for a 7th.

If this were Buffalo or Oakland I might could see it but Seattle is an A-1 organization with top flight coaches and staff. If Michael couldn't make it there then where could he? Certainly not Dallas, where the coaches are handpicked "yes men" and ownership is ego driven.

Chris Johnson would have been MY pick for Dallas' future and would have considered Ray Rice. Of the most recent targets, I think Montee Ball would have been the best choice to make a difference in Dallas.

So are you guys buying into a Christine Michael rebirth or are you like me?....

Convinced this is just another pet project for delusional owner Jerry Jones.

Seattle wanted to dump him, for a reason, and had him behind others for a reason. That being said, I think John Riggins could come out of retirement and look like OJ Simpson behind that O-line.

I think if he gets the shot, he will take over.

Got offered Calvin for AJ Green and Michael. Love Calvin, but can't pull the string on my lottery ticket.

Montee Ball just isn't any good. Way too slow to be a starting RB.

Michael may not be the savior in Dallas, but at least the talent is there. Maybe he can turn the knucklehead factor around and the talent rises to the top. Ball doesn't give them that same capability.
