Okay, we know the names.......or do we?
FA's out there as of now with reported cuts:
DeAngelo Williams
Jason Snelling
Willis McGahee
Ahmad Bradshaw
Jerome Harrison
Brian Westbrook
Brandon Jackson
Jerious Norwood
Carnell Williams
Ricky Williams
Ronnie Brown
Fred Taylor/Sammy Morris/kevin Faulk
Darren Sproles
Le'Ron McClain
Cedric(I should be in orange and stipes) Benson :yellowlaugh:
Joseph Addai
Now, this is not all of them, but these are a few key.
Obviously the big fish is:
DeAngelo Williams - If he isn't back to Carolina...and he should not be.... then look for Denver or Miami to push very hard to get him. Long shot - Cincy. They have tons of cap, and he would be a huge ticket seller for a potentially down team.....
Jason Snelling - He will be a solid runner for some team. If Denver misses out on DeWill, look for him there. OR He could also end up in Miami or St. Louis.
Cedric(I like Stripes)Benson - Yep, he will be back in Cincy, and kiss his big payday goodbye. Brown will bend him over and give him what he will get in prison if all the charges against him hit.
Bradshaw - Let me say I am not a fan. He gets dinged up too much, and fumbles. But when right he can be electric. To me if I am Miami this is an awesome target to pair with Thomas. But whereever Bradshaw lands....he NEEDS to be sharing time.
Now...what I would do.....
St. Louis - I need back up to Jackson, but someone with a change of pace. To me...I would go ......Snelling. But for the money, and what I need. I think Jerome Harrison would be absolutely perfect. Cheap option, great use and solid out of the back field.
Cincinnati - I let the cat out of the bag above already, but to me Cincy needs to make a splash, and get a guy who can carry an offense as Dalton learns. They have cap space they absolutely have to spend. DeAngelo Williams would be my big time target, and I would overspend the heck out of it to get him. But I bet they go cheap and get Benson back. :sob:
Miami - Want a solid tandem back to Thomas, someone who can get balls out of the backfield. Bradshaw works well here, as does Snelling, Williams. But not sure of cap space...so my bet here is Snelling. Look for Sproles as an outside cheaper shot. Lets face it Sproles in that wild cat could be fun, fun, fun.
Tennesee - Yeah, thats right...you CJ owners best be really, really scared. Why? I think hold out is a major possibility. Add to that the fact they desperately need someone to bull and take rest carries for CJ and you need help here. But my gut says value is needed. I like Ricky Williams here. Alot.
New England - Changing of the guard here. Gone will be the three listed above. of all of them Faulk will be most missed. But you have Woodhead, the Law firm and two drafted Rbs. I think that spells changeover.
San Diego - Sproles may be back, as I don't see the big market for him. If not though, a change of pace skat back is desperately needed. Todman ain't it. So...Norwood or Brown could drop here.
what do you all think?
