Foster considered retiring last year

who is his back up and depth......can't believe they let Tate walk if that is the case

I'm not sure that they even know who the #2 is at this time. I feel like he'll stick but if he has back problems again I think all bets are off.

Arian Foster (undisclosed) has still not resumed practicing and will not play in Saturday's preseason opener.

Foster is thought to be dealing with recurring hamstring problems, but the Texans are declining to comment.

From the guys in white hats over at rotoworld.

In a surprising move, Houston dropped the RBs assumed to be the 2 and 3 (Andre Brown & Dennis Johnson) catapulting Jonathon Grimes into the #2 slot (who? o_O )

Alfred Blue is listed as #3

No wonder Andre is so pissed.

By all that I have read, they are really, really high on Blue. He needs work in blitz coverage as most rookie Rbs do. But he has been putting on shows when used.

I keep reading that he lacks speed, huh? He wasn't a plodder at LSU. Hail he did a lot of our wide running plays unless my memory completely fails me. He did have a tendency to get nicked up fairly often and he was in a very crowded backfield that included Jeremy Hill who BTW IS the real deal.
