Florida hires Texas DC Muschamp to be new HC

Nice hire by Florida....but really....this is still a downgrade from Meyer until he proves himself. I do think this will allow them to pick up where they left off, but it's still some large shoes to fill.
 
It sucks for us, but we can find another guy.

This is a big moment for him. Im interested to see what staff changes he makes.
 
Interesting hire to say the least. Rumor has it he's taking some UT staff with him to UF with Major Applewhite being one of them. He has some deep SEC ties as an assistant coach, and now finally gets a chance to put it all together in what he has learned. Definitly a good move for him.
 
Definately a good hire for the Gators. He would be wise to take Applewhite with him to run the offense. I think Major could get a ton of production out of the players there at UF.

I think the staff turnover will help us in the long run. Maybe we will finally recruit tougher players.
 
This hire won't avert another loss to Jimbo Fisher next year..... and I can live with that.
