Chris Brown to steal goalline carries?

Looks like the Texans are planning to use Chris Brown as their goalline back this season which is something Slaton owners or those considering drafting him will want to watch. Brown had the following to say on the subject:
"That's what they ask me to do," Brown said Monday. "You've got to embrace it."

Does this make anyone worry any about Slaton? The good thing for Slaton owners is that by week 3 Brown will likely be on the IR :biglaugh:

What about Arian Foster. I heard good things initially about this kid, but haven't anything since. Does this kid have a chance or is he a huge longshot?

Damn... Slaton was one of the few RBs that I didn't have any qualms about drafting. Now there's talk of a goal line vulture?

Slaton's the designated guy in 2009 that I seem to be drafting in almost every league, and I feel absolutely no trepidation about it. Being a goal-line or short yardage specialist means a more physical style and taking more punishment. Brown's never been compatible with either.

But then they have Moats and Foster. Face it, Slaton is not a big enough do everything guy. I watched him get 1 yard, then 0 yards, then 1 yard, and break a long one. Not someone to trust when you need a couple yards.

Point well taken in real football. In fantasy, as long as he gets me 100+ total yds, 4 catches and a TD, I don't care how he gets those stats. LOL
