Boldin's High Ankle sprain??

Anquan Boldin suffered a high ankle sprain in Sunday's win over the Seahawks, according to the East Valley Tribune.

The term "high ankle sprain" is sometimes thrown around loosely, so we wouldn't panic just yet. It is a concern, though, because Boldin was unable to finish Sunday's game and often deals with nagging injuries. He did say afterwards that he expects to play next week at the Giants. Keep a close eye on practice reports. If he's out, Steve Breaston would draw the start.

If it's a high ankle as reported I don't expect to see him on the field against the NYG.

Our view: Steve Breaston is one of the best third-string WRs in the league, and will be able to fill admirably if Boldin is out. However, Boldin said that his ankle injury would not keep him from playing next week in a big matchup against the Giants.
