Putting this in place for the draft starting tonight. This thread will be live for folks online during the draft to list picks, give opinions and note trades.

I apologize as I usually try to do a mock draft or two, but I have been swamped, and quite frankly, this draft is going to be crazy cause the value isn't really there IMO.

Enjoy folks!

My prediction is salt for picks one and two. Going to be the QB for Raiders, and for Jets I think its a pass rusher, either Bailey or Reese.

The question becomes what happens at #3.

IMO, Cardinals would love to trade back, and get more picks to rebuild with. That being said, I don't think there is any real talent that teams really want to trade up for. No one will trade to #3 for Love I don't think(Rbs don't go that high in 1st rd anymore). So is there someone who can't live without Reese/Bailey? Or is there that much love for Bain JR or Styles?

I also don't buy a Safety going this high, regardless of Down's talent. I also don't think this group of WRs deserve a pick here either.

So....

I would assume Cardinals will go Reese/Bailey at #3 if no trade.

Just my $0.02

May only be my opinion, but there has been some bad choices here. Rams easily could have traded back for Simpson

Rams pick has to be one of the stupidest picks in recent memory.

Not saying he will or wont be great, its WHEN he was picked.
So I agree, this pick was a huge reach. I also get they have no plan for when Stafford finally leaves. But to take this kid this early...is a real bad reach IMO.

I have to admit, fantasy wise not thrilled with options in first round due to situation.

QBs - Fernandez probably doesn't start the year as #1, so you have to sit and wait. Ty Simpson could be on the bench for up to 2 years.....

RBs - Love is an incredible back, but Arizona is a train wreck, and QB situation could be a mess as well. Price in Seattle though....that could be yummy!

WRs - Tate to Tenn gives you their new #1, but Cam still needs to improve. Tyson to Saints to support Olave could be solid if Shough continues what he did end of season last year. Lemon to Philadelphia is an A.J. Brown replacement, not sure how this goes as they have made other adds at WR in preperation. Concepcion to Browns could be gold if the kid reduces the drops he had, I am not a Jerry Jeudy fan, so this gives someone at QB another solid target. Omar Cooper Jr to Jets is also enticing, but with the add of Sediq at TE..not sure how many targets Cooper will see.

TE - Sediq was only TE take and he falls to a not great Jets offense. Future could be bright if Geno reverts
