Was glad they went away from Kellen Moore until I heard McCarthy is going to be calling the plays. Was hoping for a proven OC. I know McCarthy called the plays in Green Bay but that was ages ago.

By all accounts - look for a report of DeMeco Ryans as new HC in Houston this week

Falcons hired co-DC Ryan Nielson from New Orleans as their DC
Reports are out that Denver flew to Michigan University to talk to Jim Harbaugh - even after his video stating he is staying at Michigan

Does safe mean they likely make it through next season before they are let go as opposed to being replaced in season? Trying to understand rational of Staley being safe and MCCarthy being on a short leash. I think I'd put Staley on a short leash as well. I get being aggressive but his going for it on fourth down no matter what attitude is bordering on reckless, and the Chargers feel like they are in the same boat as the Cowboys with their degree of stupid penalties and costly mistakes resulting in them losing football games they should win. Not to mention the epic playoff collapse, they practically feel like the AFC Cowboys.

I don't agree that Staley should be at risk, but all I have seen report wise is he is safe. The owner really likes him. I am not sold on McCarthy being the same, as Jerry simply won't allow Dallas to spend that much $$$ and not get a ring after 3 years.
