Coming at you
Have always loved watching Rodgers play and like his "quirky" personality, BUT something about him is really off here. Basically taking a me or him approach with the GM. GB can't let that happen so I guess he really does want out.

So more on Aaron Rodgers - per multiple reports on yahoo and the Athletic, this is a major issue for Rodgers
1) he is still ticked they cut Kumerow
2) he was mad about the blind side drafting of Love
3) up until recently all the offers on his contract from the team was restructures - not extensions - that gave him more money but no security on staying.
4) Reports share texts he has made publicly to many team mates calling current GM Gutekunst as Jerry Krause - meaning all the negatives
5) Yes, GB HAS offered to pay him top QB money, but still not over an extended years deal that locks Rodgers in and not go year to year as it is set now.

Now to the teams side - this is very similar to what happened with Favre, he was hedging retiring so team made it easy to separate if they needed to and drafted Rodgers so he was ready. Difference here is Rodgers is still in his prime, while Favre was on tail end of his career.
