Saints running back Alvin Kamara has been arrested in Vegas on battery resulting in significant bodily harm charges.

apparently the crime happened Saturday night and and they arrested him Sunday after the pro bowl. How funny would it be if he was just walking out of the locker room and they're like yeah you're under arrest

Will be interesting to hear what actually happened here. Self defense or just a lack of self control?

after that terrible performance by the players, he went ballistic..... ;)
I didn't watch the game. Were they really playing 2 hand touch or was that hyperole?

This game is a total joke. I can't blame the players for not wanting to get hurt in a meaningless game though. Football just isn't set up for all star type game like the other sports. Just play 7 on 7 flag and do the skills competition. Don't try to pass it off as a real game with MVPs.

Interesting hire. Hope it works out, but not exactly a stimulating hire
This was another stop gap, they still need to fix cap and trade Watson and Lovie knows this is his last chance. Literally taking one for the team

The New Orleans Saints running back is accused of punching an unctuous man on the ground at a Las Vegas nightclub, leading to his arrest on Sunday. Kamara was one of four men involved in the alleged battery, and the four are alleged to have stomped on the victim approximately 23 times and punched the victim nine times, according to police records via Amie Just of NOLA.com.

Court documents obtained on Monday show the attack happened as the victim, identified as Darnell Greene, was leaving the club. Detectives say Greene was waiting for the elevator with a large group of people. Once the elevator doors opened, Greene says Kamara put his hand on his chest, stopping him from walking into the elevator.”

Greene says he pushed Kamara’s hand off his chest, the document states, and was pushed back, before being hit and kicked by multiple people until he lost consciousness.”

Kamara reportedly told detectives Greene called one of his friends ugly and he later said “I’ll whoop your a** too.” The document says Kamara saw a fight break out, saw Greene getting punched, and threw a “couple” punches of his own. When asked why he punched Greene, Kamara reportedly told detectives he thought Greene was running away and had done something to his group, so he chased and punched Greene several times.

There is said to be video on what happened as well.

The NFL issued a statement that said, “We are aware of the matter but will decline further comment at this time.”

Free agent OT Greg Robinson was arrested Monday in Thibodaux, La. on nine felony drug charges.

Robinson, 29, was pulled over for a traffic violation around midnight, and a police dog alerted at the presence of narcotics. Officers discovered 38.89 pounds of marijuana, 3.16 pounds of crystal methamphetamine, 2.22 pounds of cocaine, 4 grams of crack cocaine, 227 doses of hydrocodone, 48 doses of oxycodone and 18 doses of alprazolam along with “a large assortment of drug trafficking and packaging equipment/paraphernalia, firearm magazines and ammunition and a small amount of U.S. currency.” It's Robinson's second drug-related arrest in the last two years after he fell out of the league following the 2019 season. Robinson remained in jail Wednesday on $315,000 bond. The former No. 2 overall pick of the Rams is one of the biggest draft busts in recent memory.
