This is one of my favorite yearly posts from one of my favorite people. Fumbleweed, who stopped by last year for input on this here.
---------------------------------------------------------------------

This is something I like to post on site every few weeks starting in Mid-December and then update it a few times for a couple of months. This edition continues to assume no team changes for the following players (which isn't realistic) and does not include potential rookies. This is just a glimpse of what a redraft (non-PPR) might look like for 2010 based upon what is known today. It is meant to generate some discussion, so feel free to disagree and/or offer up alternative choices. A fourth round is included this time around. A plus or minus in parentheses after a name indicates movement from the last posting.

Round One:

1. Chris Johnson
2. Adrian Peterson
3. Maurice Jones-Drew
4. Ray Rice
5. Andre Johnson (+2)
6. Frank Gore (+5)
7. Drew Brees (-2)
8. Michael Turner
9. Steven Jackson
10. DeAngelo Williams (-4)
11. Reggie Wayne (+1)
12. Cedric Benson (+3)

Round Two:

13. Aaron Rodgers (+3)
14. Ryan Grant (+6)
15. Randy Moss (+4)
16. Peyton Manning (-6)
17. Larry Fitzgerald (-3)
18. Thomas Jones (-1)
19. Rashard Mendenhall (-6)
20. Brandon Marshall (+1)**
21. DeSean Jackson (+2)
22. Joseph Addai (+2)
23. Tom Brady (-1)
24. Knowshon Moreno (-6)

Round Three:

25. Miles Austin (+11)
26. Vincent Jackson (-1)
27. Philip Rivers (+1)
28. Jamaal Charles (+5)
29. Pierre Thomas (+6)
30. Roddy White (+4)
31. Wes Welker (-2)
32. Marion Barber (New)
33. Dallas Clark (-1)
34. Matt Schaub (-4)
35. Matt Forte (-9)
36. Antonio Gates (New)

Round Four:

37. Marques Colston (New)
38. Calvin Johnson (-7)
39. Brandon Jacobs (-12)
40. Chad Ochocinco (New)
41. Greg Jennings (New)
42. LaDainian Tomlinson (New)
43. Tony Romo (New)
44. Chris Wells (New)
45. Santonio Holmes (New)
46. Vernon Davis (New)
47. Anquan Boldin (New)
48. Sidney Rice (New)

Obvious omission: Miami Dolphins RBs. Just don't have a clue how they'll be used right now. I have both projected back-to-back right now in the fifth round...that will obviously change as the offseason progresses and information is known. Also just missing this cut was Ben Roethlisberger and Jonathan Stewart.

**- This is Marshall's ranking assuming some sort of resolution with him can be reached at some point. Lots of talent, but he's an obvious risk.

Thoughts?

A few things that jump out at me about this list (having given very little thought about next years drafts yet)....

Top 4 picks are where they should be.

Unless something changes in N.O. I would not take PT in the 3rd round.

Forte in the 3rd looks like a good deal to me.

Megatron in the 4th looks like a screamin' deal to me.

To many options at TE to be spending a 3rd round pick on one next year.

Thomas Jones is getting old...

I agree. What this is though is a thought starter thread that he builds on all offseason. It is as good a thread as we all make it. It changes monthly untill the preseason begins then weekly.

Sounds Good RC.

Gates jumped right off the page at me. I don't see him far enough above some of the other TEs to warrent that high a pick

Another 1 that is kind of strange is Rodgers and Grant. If you were drafting at the turn would you take them 2. I wouldn't
