Images of Joe Burrow’s turf toe injury are being sent to noted foot specialist, Dr. Robert Anderson, to be reviewed. If surgery is deemed necessary, it would be expected to sideline Burrow three months. Burrow was in a walking boot and on crutches after today’s game.

Surgery is looking highly likely

Schefter saying he needs the surgery officially.

Year 6 and the Bengals can't give him a even decent offensive line. Pathetic

Colts are the first team in the NFL to not have to punt in their first 2 games of a season - Wow

The NFL knows its a BS play. Every single time EVERY lineman lines up offsides and the center is directly over the ball. It's illegal about 5 different ways. Not to mention the false starts.

I'm glad people are finally noticing or at least speaking up.

Here's a thought, man up and stop the play, stop finding excuses to try and kill the play. Pretty sure that is the point of this game.

Hard to "man up and stop it" when the team running it is getting absurd advantages before the ball even snaps.

I'd agree with your man up ideology if it was a neutral start just like any other play. It's not. Plain and simple20250916_065642.jpg

The area between the black and red line is the neutral zone. Lineman can not line up in this zone. 5 different people could be flagged this and almost every time.

And we all know how I hate Dalass. I'm not a disgruntled fan by any means. The "play" is not enforced correctly by the rules and gives Philly an unfair advantage. Same as that sideline dancing BS Mahomes does exploiting the league favoritism of the QB (as long as their famous enough and a big enough star. We all know Penix or Brice Young try what he does and get obliterated there is most likely no flag.)

Ok then LOL

Anyway, apparently people are trying to make an issue of Brady being in the coaches box yesterday during the Raiders game because he had the Chargers game last week and people are trying to say he has "inside info" and calling him a cheater again.

His rules are well known and established. He can't attend any meetings with any coaching staff during the week. He's basically commentating with what he finds in his own research.

I say it's a big nothing burger.

For the record, I agree with you on tush push, if they align off side it needs to be called. Rules are rules. For that matter, I believe there is still a rule that says you can't help push a ball carrier forward, and they tried to reword that, but never heard what happened. Again, some of this is the atrocious Refs in this league.

As for Brady, the way they ignore the rules for him is beyond belief in what he is able to do and hear as an owner and a announcer. Good grief.

So...
Looking at some major QB changes for this week....
Mariota for WAS - if Daniels is out
Browning for CIN - and quite a while it looks like, have seen one report that says this is a season ender for Burrow
Mac Jones for SF again - if Purdy is out
Carson Wentz for MIN - as McCarthy looks like will miss a few weeks with high ankle sprain
Tyrod Taylor for NYJ - with Fields in concussion protocol - head coach says he isn't comfortable starting anyone if they miss practice Wed. and Thurs

Oh, and Daniel Jones is leading the NFL as QB.......

Just Wow.

Bengals - are signing Mike White and Sean Clifford to PS - both QBs. Also have seen rumors they are talking to Giants about Jameis Winston

If it was any team other than Philly, you would be the head whiner. It’s not a football play. Plain and simple.

There should be no aiding the runner, including pushing the pile forward. It’s not football.
Well your wrong, again.
First Philly is not the only team doing this, they are just the most successful.
Second, it IS a football play, since it is being used in football. No other requirement exists
I am fine with no assist to the ball carrier. But you better make sure you make that change for all plays, as Mud calls out there a tons of plays NOT tush push that have OL pushing ball carrier forward or pulling them forward.

Again, if we had refs that were worth their weight, they should call some of these as there are existing rules on the aid of a ball carrier I believe.
