I'd like to know what the niners are thinking.

The Niners are thinking they can win without Josh although they may have won one more game had he not been injured.
I don't know the extent of Morgan's injury or his subsequent recovery.
They were also thinking they still have Crabtree's contract to deal with and simply couldn't risk matching the Redskins offer (5 years, 12 mil over the first 2 with 7.5 guaranteed and the last three voidable)
never mind the money they'll need to pursue PM and the green they'll need to keep that defense in tact.
I thought he was on his way to a great year, however he is still in the learning process.
I seriously doubt he'll learn much in DC.
Morgan is or was a legit deep threat with over-the-middle capabilities.
This could be a great opportunity for Santana Moss to extend his career in the game if he is able to take this potential talent around him and go all 'grasshopper' on Garcon and Morgan.
