(Rotoworld) First-round DT Nick Fairley (foot surgery) had his cast removed and is now in a walking boot. Analysis: Now that he's in the walking boot, Fairley is at least able to move around with his teammates during practice. He appears on track to return sometime around Week 1. Stress fractures do have a tendency to linger, so the Lions would be wise to give Fairley all the time he needs.
