Sadly the Texans had a great year and story on field, but have major issues off field with ownership. There seems to be a struggle between the current owner Janice McNair and Cary McNair. Cary is trying to get Janice legally diagnosed as incapacitated to take over the team, while Janice and her son (current CEO of the team) Cal Jr are fighting that claim.

NYG - this is almost too funny. So officially Wink Martindale has NOT resigned yet. Nor has the team officially released him. What has happened is, Daboll stated he was coming back, then Daboll fired LB coach and one other defensive coach. Martindale then had a meeting with Daboll and by all reports cursed him out about the firings. Martindale left the meeting slamming the door and has flown home to Florida. So I think its safe to say Wink won't be DC anymore, but I wonder how petty Daboll and Giants may be about paying him or freeing him up to look for other work.

For Fields, it is far too premature to say anything whatever Poles is thinking. They will either trade Fields or trade the pick and he needs to keep his cards close to his vest in order to milk the trade market. As he should have, he provided praise but didn’t tip his hand on the direction they will go.
