I agree somewhat. First I too think Clayton is top notch, but with Schefter and others already there, they had way too many doing the same thing. Sounds like they prefer Schefter over Clayton.

I'll miss Clayton but I'm sure he'll land elsewhere if he chooses. I'll watch him wherever he goes. I think maybe he was a little to classy for what ESPN has become.

Clayton almost seems like he was being fazed out last season.

He's really good on Sirius NFL.

TV sports reporting has become so Hollywood, guys like Clayton who don't wear suits 4 sizes too small for them and mismatched shoes are out of vogue. Unfortunate. I can't watch most of the crap on anymore. Just lame. Bypass virtually all NFL pregame shows these days.
