Ralph Vacchiano, of the New York Daily News, reports New York Giants RB Brandon Jacobs revealed during a local radio interview that he battled a slight knee injury at the start of the season. Jacobs, however, said the injury was no longer bothering him.

It's likely to irk the coach that he opened his mouth and revealed the injury. Yes it should draw some sort of penalty and or fine. I missed that part of your post earlier RC but had the same exact thoughts.

Is this like the Favre Jets thing? If yes then yeah they need to be fined.

yep, it is an unreported injury.

The "other" New York team took it on the chin for this, let's see how the NFL responds to this.
