Of course it's bogus. Teams cook up 40 times as a gimmick. The only 40 time you should ever trust is the electronic one they do at the NFL Combine and even then some scouts trust their own methodology over the timer.

Pryor's time is no more bogus than any other "home" clocked 40 time. OSU's track they run the 40's on is VERY fast for one, just look at the difference between Beanie's 40 time at the combine and the pro day.

Did Pryor run a 4.33 on that track, yep, could he do it in a combine type atmosphere and track, hell no. But it's the same track as the rest of them ran, so being the fastest Buckeye is saying something for a QB.
