Fox to add music sountrack to football broadcasts?

Another dumb idea that will soon die:

I got a better idea that will work: stadium noise only. No announcers. Just the stadium noise, stadium PA announcer, on field noises,etc.

When the broadcasters for the CFL went on strike, the CBC employed this strategy and it was fantastic television.

I am so sick of idiots like Bryant Gumbel and Matt Millen in the booth. I want a better viewing experience, and having the stadium sounds with the HD picture makes the home experience more stadium like.

Come on Fox, fire all your announcers, dump the soundtrack, and invest in stadium and field side microphones.

Fox...these are freaking live NFL games. Don't ruin them!!!!!!!!!!!

And remember that one of the best moments in sports broadcasting is when the sports broadcaster actually said nothing and let the game and fan sounds tell the story.
