David Akers- still worth hiring!

What is ackers- almost 40? Was it time to give up on him? His stats from last year were good, just missed a few key kicks. Seems to me, he is still better than most, but did his age catch up to hom all that quickly?

I wouldn't be surprised to see him back with the 9ers by the time the season starts. For less $$ mind you.

Leg strength is still good. Was striking the ball well, just a touch off. But cost them two game flat out, so you have to be confident he has the accuracy fixed.
