Latest is that the Browns have deals on the table for first round picks for both Brady Quinn and Braylon Edwards. They are said to be wanting some Crab with their first round pick.

Interesting. If they deal Quinn and Edwards they have to go Crabtree at #5. Plus if they get a high enough pick...they can still grab a OT or DT or DE which they really need. Heck make both deals and you have a shot at solid CB too.


But they will really suck this year if they deal Edwards and hope Crabtree steps up.

I'd take them more seriously if they dealt D.Anderson instead of Quinn. Then they could draft Crabtree and sign a cagey vet such as Holt or Marvin to tutor him and give Brady a reliable lifeline.

At any rate, they better address the defense with these moves or they're destined for another 5 or 6 win season.

The Giants sound like they are talking to the Browns about Braylon Edwards. It sounds like the picks aren't as much of a problem as Edwards wanting $10 million dollars a year when he gets a new contract in 2010. But it could be both.
