The Dolphins and Vic Fangio have mutually agreed to part ways, sources tell me and @JFowlerESPN. Fangio now will be the top target for the Philadelphia Eagles to hire as their defensive coordinator, and a deal is expected. Miami is allowing Fangio to leave to be closer to his family in Pennsylvania.

Fangio and the Eagles had an interest in working together in 2023, but the timing didn’t work. This time it will.

So..what do we think this does for Herbert and Eckler? Mostly Herbert
Well, Harbaugh likes to run the ball, but he’s also a smart guy so I suspect having Herbert was a big part of taking that job and he will throw plenty. Who they take at #5 overall will be a tell. Do both Keenan and Williams come back or just one of them and roll with Johnston and Palmer in 3 WR sets?

Hard to say with Eckler. How much did the ankle injury impact him last year? Looked pretty bad but OL was crappy too. Harbaugh likes his vets or at least he did in SF.

Apparently Carolina is signing Dave Canales as coach, OC from Tampa. Move him directly to the "getting warm" status Phic. :D
Yeah, heard on ESPN this morning that they were really interested in Bengals OC, but he signed quickly with Tenn. So they had to pivot
