Okay folks, you know the drill. Lets see who we as a consensus vote of the Sportsoutlaw experts think teams should take. The rules are simple, please choose one of the players listed and vote. Or, if you prefer, choose other, and then post who you would have taken. After 24hrs, the votes will be tallied and the winner will be awarded to that team. We will be going off the draft order now set...so if there are trades...we will see what happens.

Houston is on the clock!

I watched a lot of USC football this year, and really the only game they looked vulnerable was the one that Matthews missed against Oregon State. Obviously comes from a great football pedigree, and would be a perfect fit in Houston.

Mathews does it, although I did think a RB here could be a possibility. Not sure about Chris Wells though. Donald Brown may be a good back for Houston behind Slaton.

Doubt they invest 1st round money in a RB tandem, when they have other more pressing needs, and the RB class is deep.

i like matthews myself for houston . . . they definitely want a backup to slaton, but there aren't giving much info . . . could go with a vet and/or i could see a 3rd or 4th rnd pick on a bigger back . . . ;)

I agree LB is a dire need. And I can't see them passing up on Matthews if there.

Went "other" here with Peria Jerry, DT, Ole Miss in mind.

Okoye's going to be solid but has been slow to develop as the inside guy to take double-teams away from Super Mario. Houston upgraded the other end position through free agency and I think they'll draft this guy if he's available to solidify their D-line for the foreseeable future.

Sorry but there is no way in HELL that Malcolm Jenkins is a top 5 prospect.
He was until he ran his 40.......combine made him fall some, but before that he was considered by most as a top 10 pick and top 5 by many (many projections had him going to Cleveland).

He was considered a top 10 pick, but not a top 5. And every mock I've see had DE going to Cleveland. This year's crop of CB is not nearly as strong as it has been in recent years, and Malcolm Jenkins is NOT top 5 material. I've read alot and watched alot on the draft and if he gets selected in the top 5 of the real draft, I'll shave my head and post the video of it on here.
