I picked up Gresham from Cin. late have a feeling he will produce. Just in case I can snag the following TEs off waiver rank the list. I Think I can drop him and noone will grab him they are set at TE or do I see what he does before I change?

H Miller
G Olsen
K. Boss
J. Carlson
T. Heap

I think Gresham could be a good one, but I haven't seen him catch an NFL pass yet.

Carlson would be my choice, followed by Heath Miller, and maybe even Greg Olsen.

The rap on Gresham is still "learning how to get open" at the NFL level.
Bengals OC Bratkowski on Gresham: "He's seeing so many different coverages now than what he saw in college. Guys are playing him and he has to learn how to beat NFL players."

There was an earlier report stating he "looked lost" at training camp, and his holdout didnt help:

Gresham is still trying to catch up after missing the first five days of training camp, reports Joe Reedy, of The Cincinnati Enquirer. Not only is he having to learn his tight end duties, he also has to learn how to lineup in the backfield on certain sets, which isn't something he has done before.

I still expect him to be the week one starter, but how much can you get out of him, especially if this is a redraft league?

Boss is going to get catches and he has no competition for the job. Heath Miller is going to be nice early because there is no greater friend of the crappy or marginal QB than his TE.

Past that, who knows what the Bears will do with Olsen. Heap is old and has to hold off two younger TEs. Im not sure what Pete Carroll will do with the TE in his offensive system.

Id drop the rook and pick up Boss.

Im probably going to go week to week with my TE the last couple of years I grabbed a big name and had to play him and it didnt pan out I'm going to go based on matchups that being said for week 1 who do you like better? I like Olsen but go to training camp daily and seen our offensive line, I think he will have to block more instead of getting involved in the passing game!!
Miller vs. ATL
Boss vs. CAR
Carlson vs. SF
Olsen vs. DET

Boss vs Carolina looks the best without knowing what Olsen's true role will be. Otherwise Olsen would look nice against a marginal Detroit D with older backers.
