RIP, Dwight Clark

Coming at you
Sad, sad, sad day.

Late round pick who made it big and had one of the most iconic plays in NFL history.

Dated Miss Universe in college too. Gone too early but had a good life while he was here. RIP Dwight

"one of the most iconic plays"

This is true. Would be interesting to put together a list. I am sure its been done.

- Immaculate reception
- Elway spin TD in the SB
- Marcus Allen 74 yd TD
- Lynn Swan SB TD

All of these are SB plays, Dwight's is definitely in the same category.

What others would you add?

Desmond Howard returning a kickoff 99 yards for a TD in Super Bowl XXXI, following Curtis Martin's 18 yard TD run which had cut the Packer lead to 27-21. It was pivotal and the NAIL!!

Yes, tyree more so. Also agree with marino's fake spike.

In the old days, the packer sweep SB TD we always see.

I can't think of any specific plays from the bears that stand out - maybe Fridges 1st TD or the Walter Payton rush where he ran over 6 or 7 Chiefs.
