The Chargers have welcomed their rookies in, so its time to start a new news thread.

Browns - Quinshon Judkins finally released from Jail on $2,500 bond

NFLPA - some rumors were flying that the executive board isn't happy with the current Executive Director Lloyd Howell, specifically due to how he handled the out come of the collusion case against the league. Well the Executive council has released a statement stating their is no move to remove him.... but some still quesiton.

NFL draft - so in case some have missed it, only 2 second rd draft picks have signed. Both of those have signed fully guaranteed deals - a whole bunch of owners NOT happy on that. Now it seems all the other 2nd rd picks are holding out for fully guaranteed deals as well. Per sources the owners have basically said no. But lets see what happens. Net there may be some hold outs due to this.

To the above Chargers 2nd rd pick WR Tre Harris is holding out for now.

Steelers - some reports out now that the team is asking teams on trade value for T.J. Watt - this one confuses me, I have seen reports the team wants to and has a deal basically done for an extension, but then I see reports that they are talking to teams on trade - bit of bi-polar stuff with Steelers lately.

Jauan Jennings WR SF is in the last year of his contract at $7.5 million. But he wants a new deal OR traded per Schefter.

Jennings is underpaid based on last year, but was overpaid previous. I just hate this shiot. Play out your contract or renegotiate but don't make it public.
 
Teddy Bridgewater suspended from his HS job for impermissible benefits. Like paying for kids to Uber to practice, their physical therapy, eye black paint, catered meals for his team and other things like that.

I get why he's suspended but I see ZERO wrong here. He's already said he will just keep doing it from the stands if he has too.

• $14K for training camp
• $9,500 for team pride sets
• $2,200/week for pregame meals
• $1,300/week for recovery
• $700/week for Ubers


He's also a VOLUNTEER coach.
