This does nothing for the Fish but is of note in a slooooooowwww news cycle.

Actually, it puts a veteran pass-rusher on the strong side during obvious passing downs. It also gives Cameron Wake and Tereus George an extra mentor to learn the game from.

Nice move overall for the Phins.....get trade value last year and turn around and get him back a lot cheaper the next year.....very shrewd move overall.

Doubt it. After the BS he had to listen to last year, I doubt he sticks his neck out for the team this year.

He has no choice. It isn't just about the team, it's about the community. He has significant business interests in the Miami area that trade on his career as a Dolphin. If he had signed with the Patriots, they go up in smoke. If he tanks it this season because he has sand in his vagina, it goes up in smoke. Make no mistake, this is his last season and his chance to guarantee a trip to the Hall, he's going to give everything he has and more doing anything and everything the coaching staff asks of him.

Good safe move to at the very least add depth to the line rotation or LB corps, wherever he lines up.

Slightly surprised Tuna welcomed him back after what appeared to be a messy divorce after the DWTS shenanigans.

The Tuna's issue was always commitment to the off-season program. Taylor thought he knew best and Parcels gave him the opportunity to back it up. Taylor was wrong so he walked out on his contract, the Fins got a 2nd that turned into Pat White, and Taylor is back with the Fins.

Anybody disagree that Parcels basically made Snyder his bitch?

I think Taylor can be very useful if he is just used in the pass rush and not trying to anchor down the line.

he said it wasn't the money, he just wanted to play for the 'phins again. he'll probably retire at end of the year and not a favre type retirement.

Yep, this was a family move. With his DWTS's he spent a lot of time the last year away from his family.....he wants to get back to being able to spend more time. he went to Miami and told them to figure out what they could do money wise and he woudl make it work.....1.5 mil!! A year after getting compensation for him in a trade!! WOW, even if he isn't very production this is a can't lose deal for an all time Dolphin....that is where he belongs.
