We are under a week away from the Big Game now and as the hype is supposedly building, I can't help but feel personally like I'm not all that hyped. Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to complain about the matchup or something. I just always hate the long layover between games, and I don't like the chance of this one being a great game.

So what about you? How hyped up are you for the Super Bowl on this scale of 1 to 10? Do you have a big party planned? Are you ready for great commercials, friends, tons of food and drinks? Are you expecting this to be a memorable Super Bowl and one that will have the country buzzing for weeks afterward?

I'm completely excited to have a team I actually like in the Super Bowl for the first time in a long time, and don't really give a damn about whether the rest of the country likes it. Last year's was a good game, mind you, but it's so much better to have a rooting interest.

I agree with the bye week, though. At least this week there will be more happening than simply bruises healing.

I'm excited not like I was last year but I honestly can't wait for Sunday and all the build up to the game.

I am in the middle here. I love to see the underdog win with Arizona...then again I will probably watch it mostly for the commercials again this year.

Highly interested, but won't be watching it live (will have to watch it after the fact). Have to work, so will hopefully be catching part of it on the radio.

i guess personally i just cant escape the feeling that this SB will come and go as a boring 31-14 type game where pittsburgh dominates an easy and somewhat sloppy game and the cards go the way of teams like the seahawks, bears, etc as "that team that made it to the big game and lost and everyone forgets about them afterward" ...

Not to say that won't happen, bomb, but take some solace in knowing ARZ beat Pitt last year, and ARZ has two coaches very familiar with Pitt's personnel and tendencies. Pitt also won't be in sub-arctic temperatures pounding or squeaking by gassed and injured defenses.

I can only hope Cards win but I'm fairly comfortable that this won't be a blow out.

Yawn. I voted a three. It is still the Super Bowl, but I hate both teams and do not want either team to win. Thank goodness for side bets and vbookie bets to keep my interest in the game up. I am more interested in College Basketball and my NBA fantasy teams currently.

I work in retail, and which my store is open 7 days a week. There are only 2 days (not counting vacations) that are a given that I take off every year. My birthday and Super Bowl Sunday.

For me, the Super Bowl is the best game of the year, even if the Cowboys are not in it. Friends, parties, drinks, commercials, memorable plays. When I'm older, I can say stuff like "I saw David Tyree's catch. It was amazing!!"

i see all of those points, and i see the point that ive been expecting the cards to be totally outmatched a couple of times now, so thats why i'll be watching and am not positive of the outcome. but even so, thats what i expect.

also weeks feel like theyre taking forever right now. i legitimately feel like its been 3 or 4 weeks since the championship games. very strange.

I think it will be a good one.. it could go either way.

Granted, I think Steelers will win as a result of an overwhelmingly strong defense.

I'm excited about it and feel it will be a good game, and could be great. A great defense vs a very good offense.....great contrast of styles. Could be ugly, but I think Zona keeps it close and could even pull the upset. It's the Super Bowl! Should be fun.

I'm definitely excited. Not quite on par with the Florida - Oklahoma game, but just a notch below. I give it an 8. Most the interest on my part is with the Cardinals being in the game. Think they make it a much more interesting story.
