I like having at least one auction league. Snake redraft leagues are still fun, but jumping into auction style gives everybody a shot at every player. This also eliminates the bitching of the guys drafting in the middle slots.

I host an auction redraft league every labor day weekend. Do as Wes said and you'll have a successful draft. What makes these types of drafts more fun is if you know the guys you are drafting with, you can throw out guys they like and help them spend their money by carefully bidding them up.
