    Which side

I don't know much about the structure of your league, but I would keep D. Thomas. He's a lot younger than Marshall and you don't really know what you're getting with Jordan Reed, IMO. I'd roll the dice drafting/trading elsewhere for TE and keep the more valuable WR.

What would you accept for Josh Gordon in trade?

I'd say that Blackmon's track record is far worse than Gordon's and he never demonstrated to me that he is equally talented, either. But I'll just chalk this up to a difference in philosophy. I believe Gordon's talent justifies the calculated risk of a 2nd round pick.

What would you accept for Josh Gordon in trade?

I strongly disagree with most of you. Josh Gordon is waaaay more valuable than a second round dynasty draft pick in 2015. In fact, after reading this I just offered my 2015 2nd rounder for him, because I had no idea someone might actually go for that. Listen, he's a complete bonehead but he's...

    Monday Night Football Eagles/Panthers

I'm not sure that I wanted the Eagles to win this game anyway. We could really use some better draft picks.

2012 Close Call #8: Matthew Stafford vs Cam Newton

I'm surprised at how lopsided this is. Cam Newton is much higher on my draft board than Matthew Stafford.

    WR Blues

I think everyone is jumping ship on Austin Collie a little too quickly. There is a very real chance that he plays this year and puts up solid numbers.

Tim Hightower has his first full practice today

I own both Hightower and Royster in Sports Outlaw's Landry league (dynasty) but I'm not expecting anything from either of them this season. At most, I will have the option of starting one of those guys a few times this year before Shanny changes his mind. The only one I'm even touching in...

    Terrel Owens signs with Seahawks

T.O. ran a 40 in the 4.4s At his age, that's pretty remarkable

    So....Who's #1?

Depends on the scoring format, but I look at it as 1. McCoy 2. Foster 3. Rice 4. Calvin 5. CJ2K The #1 probably makes me an Eagles homer, but shady led the league in touchdowns and snaps last year. He just turned 24 years old and has no serious competition for carries. If anything, Dion Lewis...

    Weeekend Camp Notes Aug 4-5

Not Xs and Os related, but the news of Garrett Reid's death is pretty tragic today. I hope that Andy and his family are coping well.

    Sleeper TE's

I do the exact opposite every year and it has served me well. Last year I targeted Gronkowski and Graham in the late rounds, and while that was my most successful TE sleeper year ever, I think that the concept is sound in general. You can almost always find one or two elite TEs after the first...

    Hightower owners........********** (censored)

I own Hightower in several leagues and added Torain as insurance where I could... that didn't work either. I now have no idea which player to start each week or whether Helu has any value. Thanks a lot Shanny. Maybe I'll just end up dropping all of them for a backup kicker.

Ronnie Brown traded to DET, for Jerome Harrison + 2013 pick

I guess with our weak interior line there is no such thing as a "short yardage back". Looks like the Eagles are going to use Shady McCoy for everything.

    hey eagles fans

Thanks for the link Eaglechick! I haven't been on the forums much of late, but that link coupled with a victory over the Redskins has me feeling better. Plus Andy Reid is 13-0 coming off of bye weeks, so we don't even have to worry about the Cowboys this week - right? Also, yes... the Eagles...

I have a new found respect for Tony Romo

Assuming the details of his injury were real, I actually would have to agree with this. I figured the Cowboys would win easy over the 49ers, but the way that they did it and the late game heroics of Tony Romo defied most of my assumptions about him. I was calling him a choke artist after week 1...

Are The Chiefs The Worst Team In The NFL?

As of right now (the Moeaki injury, the Charles injury, the early season struggles, the change at coordinator etc.) I would say yes.... they are the worst team in the NFL.

    Maclin real sick!!!

Maclin declared that the mysterious illness has left his body. He had been undergoing tests for lymphoma and is still recovering from surgery that turned up negative. He should be back on the practice field shortly, but it may take him some time to regain his strength and weight. Sounds like a...

    Maclin real sick!!!

12th August, 2011 - 3:50 pm CSN Philly - Eagles coach Andy Reid says wide receiver Jeremy Maclin should be ready to play by the start of the regular season. Philadelphia will open the season on Sept. 11 in St. Louis. Maclin hasn't practiced this summer and the Eagles still don't know...
