If Colorado knew the Big XII would stay intact they wouldn't have left. They got nervous and acted out of fear of being left out in the cold.

I don't think it would be automatic. Nebraska has a 56% winning percentage vs those teams.

Big 12 vs PAC-10 games: Big 12 218 - PAC-10 172. Subtract Nebraska and Colorado and it's 146-118.

The Big 12 is still better with Texas & Oklahama than the PAC-1. Especially now with USC crippled with penalties for cheating.

I think Nebraska is a "sleeping giant". They had a rough run with Callahan there, but Pelini has got them going in the right direction. I think Nebraska will be on par with the top Big Ten teams and I'd bet they'll win their share of conference titles.

Yeah, I don't think weather is a major factor...they've been in a conference with schools in Kansas, Iowa, Colorado, and Nebraska the past 15 years.

Who? I think Baylor is the most irrelevant BCS school out there....unless you count the Big East.
