It’s true. They should have an explosive offence with all that talent

    The Vikings

Teams need to overpay for decent QBs. Minnesota was \ is a win now team generally solid on D and O but had the missing qb piece. Keenum had a good year with them, but like most career backups, his play was inconsistent and not sustainable. he, Fitzmagic, josh McCown and others have all had good...

NFL 2019, Week 2 In or Out and other injury notes

In my local league salary/ keeper, I have Hill which is bad. Spent $15 of a $100 cap. The good news is that I won week 1 and also have Watkins, Hardman and Kelce. All good!

    The Eagles????

It would seem the Bears may have erred in their QB selection a couple of drafts ago: 1.02 Trubisky 1.10 Mahomes 1.12 Watson 🖕

    Zeke?

Good for him. RBs in general are abused by the system. They are in their prime when they are on the cheaper rookie deals nd then tossed to the curb when they get to the point of potentially making big money. I don't blame them for holding out. All over positions have a reasonable path to big...

    The Eagles????

I guess I could argue the following as well QB: If healthy, Wentz > Trubsky RB: Slight edge to Bears based on Cohen. I'd rather DM + Cohen over Howard \ Miles WR: Call it even TE: Philly better clearly OL: Even - Bears have one of the best lines and all 5 starters returning DL: Bears LBs...

2019 NFL News thread End of Preseason

wow, what a horrible trade. I haven't followed Tuncil since the draft a couple years back - is he now an all world tackle? To date all I know of him is the iffy decision to smoke a huge bong on youtube the night before the draft :p

Hold outs and key roster situations....

Both RBs have limited leverage. I get why they do it with the limited window they have to make $ and where they are run into the ground after 4 years. Both Dallas and Chargers may get good enough production from the backups which would kill the chance for these guys to get the huge deal.

CHI - no news because they aren't playing starters all pre-season it seems. Risk injury vs. a warm up quarter or two? I get it - smart move.

    Zeke?

The question is whether his option year also gets moved out?? I don't know the answer. I see it this way 1. Dak is a mediocre QB (somewhere between 12-18 in current rank and potential) and wants to be paid more than the top 5 QBs. Ludicrous 2. Amari is somewhere in the same 12-18 rank for WRs...

That contract also raises the bar for Julio - heading towards > 20M. Cooper is hard to assess because he just isn't at that elite level but probably thinks he is.

Me and most Bears fans were critical of management when they let him go and didn't get any comp for him. This was after an 800 Yd season prior to his injury. Turns out they were right to part ways. Note that they were stating a bunch of practice squad level scrubs that year and had the worst...

I'd expect Eli to start until the bye week anyway, but rookies holding out is not a good thing, especially the future leader of the team
