Lots of talk about holding out and lack of practice, not to mention being in football shape. I feel like all those concerns should be compounded by the workload he got last year. I, for one, would be worried.

Penn State = Joe Paterno = a generation of shame I would steer my kids, future grandchildren, and future great grandchildren away from that school.

Don't think it is possible to be too tough on that school at this point.

If nothing else, at least the process is now in place for a playoff, and the BCS is finally being kicked to the curb like it should have been from the beginning. The BCS literally ruined college football for me. Other than rivalry/conference games, I completely lost interest.
