The Newark Star-Ledger seconds an ESPN New York report that free agent Plaxico Burress is not expected back with the Jets in 2012.

Would like to become an Eagle.

By all accounts last year, Philly was ready to sign him, and then the Jets swooped in and did it. Not sure the interest is still there in Philly. But only time will tell.
