NFL Impact
Rashad Jennings was a big time player in a small time program. He is one of the most intriguing small school prospects available this year and started his college career out playing at Pittsburgh where he saw extensive playing time as a true freshman. He transfer to Liberty to be closer to family and spent the next 3 seasons dominating the Big South. Jennings is a big back with decent athleticism. He is a patient runner with good vision, very effective around the goalline. Level of competition a concern. Jennings is not a game breaker but should find a spot at the next level. May be looked at as a tweener prospect who can play some full back as well.

So where do you think Jennings will land? How successful will he be in the NFL?

I'm very hopeful for this guy. Jennings started out in the Big East so I was able to see him when he started. He's got great size and decent speed, like Miller said, he's a very patient back.

Scouts at the weigh-in were sounding all kinds of gay describing this guy's body. "Cut like a Greek God" and the likes.

Well he didn't disappoint in the strength department, recorded 29 reps on the Bench.

Jennings was another big back who showed good explosiveness with a broad jump of 10'0".

Another RB who had a good showing at the Combine was Bernard Scott out of Abilene Christian. Has an extremely checkered past, having transferred 4 times, and having been arrested 5 times, but had 37 touchdowns last year, and looked extremely smooth in the drills. Put up the top time in the 3-cone and 20-yard shuttle. 2008 Harlon Hill winner.

For Jennings, 2nd best time in the 60-shuttle, behind only Donald Brown, is very impressive.

Jennings is going to make some team very happy. He would make a great B.Jacobs type thunder to a R.Bush or S.Slaton lightning.

Dukdown - good catch in B.Scott. Very checkered past and he's older due to multiple transfers. He's been on the straight and narrow for 2 years. If you haven't heard of this guy, do yourself a favor and become familiar with him. This guy has some great football skills. He'll have to convince a NFL team to take a chance on him. He is a great dynasty draft flier that no one is taking about, but has huge upside if he gets a chance.
