Jacksonville picks up option on Mercedes Lewis Te
Buccaneers cut Doug Martin
Rumors flying KC is looking to deal Cb Marcus Peters

Hmm, Surprised at the Peters rumour. KC has aprox $11mil cap room (~ enough for 2018 rookies) after the dust settles on the Smith trade. Peters is on last year of rookie deal so they would only get $1.7mil more cap space. They are sitting at $75mil cap space for 2019 so they should be able to extend him

First KC send Cb Marcus Peters to the Rams - not sure what the return is, supposedly they wanted Robert Quinn OLB, but right now seems to be only picks.
Eagles don't expect to keep Trey Burton - so superbowl hero to on the market....thats the NFL...
Jags cut Ivory and some others, not a big surprise with Rbs they have.
Rumors of Bills and Jags working FA market for Qb, so trying to financially make moves by keeping existing Qbs but trade them for some return.
Per reports - Mayfield, Rosen, and Allen will throw at the combine.

Thought I saw 3 years $56mil or something. Very shocking as I see lower/mid level starter QBs seem to get around $23mil now. $18mil seems very high for backup and very low for starters

Also confirmed the Vikings will NOT tag Case Keenum, so all Qbs will be FAs for Vikings(rumors have it they will go heavy for Cousins....). Still pending is Bridgewater and if his contract get tolled for last year.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Dolphins will meet with franchise tagged WR Jarvis Landry's agent on Wednesday, and that "multiple sources" expect Landry to be traded.

I am starting to sniff issues in N.E. again - Amendola and Lewis have both said they want to return, but realize this is a business and they know how NE handles the money.... Add to that a report from NBC Sports on Gronk was close to retiring during pre-season of last year - due to wear and tear AND how things are done in N.E. Is Camelot ready to crumble?
Cowboys are getting ready to talk contract with Dez ---- this should be entertaining....
Raiders plan to hang on to M. Crabtree - even though he has regressed...
Packers are working a deal with A.Rodgers that will be better pay than Garoppolo.

Further cementing the Rodgers rumor - GM from GB says wants deal done sooner rather than later - yeah, cause once Cousins breaks the bank...Rodgers and Wilson and potentially Ryan will be killers to the cap
Not so surprising - Bears will cut Mike Glennon Qb once new year starts (March 14th) , huge mistake they are paying for there...
Per McDermott - Buffalo is not planning to cut T.Taylor - he has a $6 million bonus if on roster 3rd day of new season....so they may be trying to work a trade?
