so lets get caught up - and understand that some of these are not locked for week 1 yet
- Philadelphia has let us know that while Carson Wentz is practicing again, he still has not been cleared for contact yet - my money is week 1 at least will be Foles

- Giant Lb - Olivier Vernon injured he ankle this week -but X-rays were negative - no time table yet
- Seattle Lb K.J. Wright is out with a knee injury and is getting treatment - no statement yet on what injury is, or what treatment will be
- Tom Brady is in early form - hung up during an interview when talk started about Guerrero......
- Cb Jimmy Ward is dinged up again - he has a high salary and can't stay on the field - but teams loves him, so lets see if he is a cap hit or not
- Jets HC has stated he knows who his starter will be - but isn't sharing with us - Darnold? If so, what does this mean for Bridgewater?
- Hugh Jackson HC Cle - says Baker Mayfield is the #2 Qb this year
- Rams are said to be close on a HUGE deal with Aaron Donald and they expect him in by end of this week
- Arizona has lost Rb D.J. Foster to knee injury - he was #3 on depth chart
- Titans have activated Rishard Matthews Wr off PUP
- Raiders are not "slamming the door" on a Khalil Mack trade - considering no one has talked and no movement has been made, it might be best to trade and get best value
- Giants have traded C Brent Jones to Minnesota(their starting C is hurt currently) - sent an undisclosed 2019 draft pick to giants
- Wr Eric Decker has retired - was recently signed in N.E. but he is not retiring - Making depth a bigger question in N.E.?

- Giants deal with OBJ is very close but still not completed yet
- Miami and Oakland are both struggling with who is or is not their back up Qb - calling Bridgewater?!?!?!

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Alshon Jeffery (shoulder) will miss "at least" the first two games of the season.

However, Schefter reports Jeffery is expected to be activated off the PUP list this weekend, meaning the Eagles are confident he will not miss six games. Per Schefter, Jeffery "could" return by Week 3.

This is going to make Agholor and Ertz pretty popular daily plays for the first couple weeks.

My opinion on Bears WRs

1. Allen Robinson - assumed to be healthy but has seen no pre-season action so far. Draft him in the 4th but with medium confidence as we don't know if he is brittle or if his major injury was an isolated thing. Expect 65-1000-7 type of numbers if healthy with a chance for more upside

2. Mystery who will emerge from the next group. My gut says rookie Anthony Miller. has been active in pre-season and will definitely contribute and may emerge as the #2 and a ROTY candidate. This is not set yet as the #2 WR will likely be fluid this year. Being drafted in the 12-13 round range as a WR4. expect 57-700-4 numbers and hope for a break out

3. Kevin White - the risk is that a stiff breeze or a long blade of grass will cause a bone fracture but he is healthy as we head into the reg season. He has shown flashes of speed and ability mixed with not so great activity throughout the off season. Now that he is still healthy at this point, he is worth a late round flyer as a WR5 with boom or bust potential.

4. Taylor Gabriel - may end up as the starting slot and could potentially lead the team in receptions. really hard to say. Mostly undrafted in leagues so is another potential last round guy that could be fruitful.

5. Deep Flyer - after a great pre-season, likely that javon Wims makes the team - he may need to show special teams value to make it. Normal people would not have heard of him, so this is for deep roster league roster flyer

Note that Cohen, Burton and other TEs will see a lot of targets which will reduce the opportunities of above. But, one of them will be a viable FF bench player after AR.

Jerick McKinnon suffered an undisclosed knee injury during today's practice.

It was his first day of involvement in drills since his calf strain and happened while practicing cuts by himself.

An MRI is scheduled but it looks like this will cut into the regular season.

okay trade official for Mack. Chicago sends 2019 1st and 6th round picks and 2020 1st and 3rd round picks for Mack. Man Oakland made out well here....
- Oakland now has NO back up Qb - cut Cook and Manuel - Whoops fix that, they traded with Buffalo to get A. J. McCarron...
- Oakland has also cut Martavius Bryant as well
- Cardinals cut Wrs Greg Little and Brice Butler as well
- Bears sends S Deiondre Hall to Eagles for undisclosed pick
- as expected(by me no less...) Saints cut Tom Savage and also J.T. Barrett - so Brees only has Bridgewater and Taysom Hill behind him
- Saints also cut Jonathan Williams Rb so not sure what depth they have past Kamara
- Bills got 2019 5th round pick from Oakland for McCarron as an update

Bears also get a 2nd and a 5th along with Mack. Not as bad as you have it above
yeah not sure I have it right, I have seen three reports, and all three are different.

Per ESPN transaction tracker the deal is:
Raiders send Mack, a 2020 2nd rounder and a 2020 conditional 5th rounder to Chicago for 2019 1st and 6th round picks and 2020 1st round and 3rd round picks.

so while not quite as costly for the bears, it is still a high cost.
