NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Davante Adams' (neck) MRI came back clean.

Adams has been diagnosed with a concussion, so it appears he avoided a serious neck injury. All things considered, it's relatively good news for Adams, though concussions are no small matter. Consider Adams week to week. Geronimo Allison is a receiver to pick up on waivers next week.

Tevathan can say it was accidental all he wants. Adams was not moving.....he was being held up a few feet away, and Trevathan launced head to head on purpose. Probably one of the clearest examples ever.

NFL rules on these kinds of plays all favor the offense, which really makes it tough on defensive players.

-Last Thursday, they called Jimmy Ward for a hit to a defenseless receiver (Robert Woods) after woods caught the ball at the 5, and had turned and put his head down moving toward the end zone. If Ward doesn't hit him, he scores. Woods had lowered his head and there was nowhere to hit him other than the neck area. What was Ward supposed to do? Just let him walk in?

-The NFL can easily stop plays like the one last night by eliminating this BS of allowing offensive players to push the runner or receiver forward into the end zone. Again, you are asking defensive players to back off big hits but you are allowing the play to continue with basically a scrum going on. Adams was stood up but there were players from both sides still pushing him forward and backward. Play would have been over or blown dead if this wasn't allowed. I just hate that it is allowed to happen.

Tevathan doesn't have a record of cheap hits. Whistle should have been blown. Saw a couple Packers saying it wasn't intentional.
