New York Giants wide receivers Steve Smith and Mario Manningham are undergoing MRIs and tests on their injuries on Tuesday.
Head coach Tom Coughlin didn't have much to say about Smith's hamstring injury and Manningham's hip flexor. Both wideouts suffered the injuries during the Giants' 21-3 win over the Minnesota Vikings in Detroit on Monday night.
Smith was frustrated after the game when asked about his injury since he had just returned from a four-game layoff due to a partially-torn pectoral injury. It is possible that Smith and Manningham could miss Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles, leaving quarterback Eli Manning without two of his top three receivers.
"I don't know," Smith said of the severity of his hamstring injury following the win. "We will see. I got tackled from behind. It is sore."
The Giants did get bad news when they learned linebacker Clint Sintim suffered a season-ending ACL injury. Sintim was on crutches after the game and Coughlin said the team's second round pick in 2009 will undergo surgery as soon as the swelling in his knee goes down. Sintim has played mostly on special teams this season.
Center Shaun O'Hara (foot) will resume practicing on Wednesday and Coughlin said the team will wait to see how he progresses. Defensive end Justin Tuck is sore after suffering injuries to his ribs and hand but Coughlin said the defensive captain should play against the Eagles.
Ahmad Bradshaw had his wrist wrapped late in the game but Coughlin didn't sound too concerned and said following the game that the running back has managed the injury, which kept him out of a practice last week.
