Clay Matthew comes from a very rich bloodline of NFL players, dad (Clay), uncle (Bruce) and grandfather. Clay is instinctive, tough, and intense with a non stop motor that flies around the field. He is smart with a football IQ with a great work ethic. He is all around a good defender. Matthew did not break the starting lineup until USC loss to Oregon State this season may be a bit of an overachiever.
