Chargers Expect RB Ladainian Tomlinson To Take Paycut.

The San Diego Chargers expect LT2 to restructure his contract and take a paycut to stay with the team. RB Darren Sproles was just given the franchise tag and a boatload of bucks. While GM A.J. Smith says the two situations are separate this is obviously the other shoe dropping.

I would have expected LT to be ready to restructure his contract, but in all fairness, now that the tag is on Sproles, it's going to take some serious swallowing of pride to do this.

How much is LT making next year under his current deal? I can't see him being willing to drop under what Sproles is now making. Now he may re work it so it's more cap friendly, but the Sproles tag may make these talks very interesting.
