Broncos released DLs Dewayne Robertson and John Engelberger, LBs Jamie Winborn and Niko Koutouvides, TE Nate Jackson, and SS Marquand Manuel. More purging will come shortly. Dewayne Robertson is known as one of Shanny's most awesome busts and Niko was supposed to be "the man". So it appears that Coach Doogie Houser, MD is taking out the trash in anticipation of a new defense.

Doogie is pretty methodical, DJ Williams reworked his contract. Donkos are now $30m under the cap. Look for them to make major moves in free agency with that much scratch to work with.
