Well, I fell for it, can't blame Cleveland too much, I bought into the hype as well. Still, to move down one pick, gain 3 more picks and still take a OT they wanted. Nice for Minny.

A little too early, but I did get Philly's player and it was by trade. Giving myself partial credit here!

Partial credit here, they traded down to Philly, but still took a DE/OLB in Irvin, however Ingram was on the board, so i was way wrong on player and place.

Failure, didn't see Coples as a target, then again, I think this is a huge mistake by Jets. Still, I was off.

Re: Phicinfan's First round Mock Draft for 2012

In this draft it would have been impossible for any of us to predict what just happened. Holy hell this was a weird one. Many guys that I had high hopes for are in terrible spots. Just crazy. An extremely deep draft just ended up about 6 deep.

It's the new landscape of the NFL draft. In previous years, with the insane rookie salaries, it was madness to trade like this. but now that the teams no longer have the specter of being reamed by rookies and their agents, they are more free to trade like this.

That being said, we sure can look back now at the Patriots moves during recent drafts and see the genius to it....
