Someone please explain this to me

So even if Heineken dove and touched the outside side of the pylon that's a TD? How does that make any sense? Hitting a marker that is at least a few inches outside the plain, out of bounds, is a TD? And why haven't I ever realized this before? 🤪

Someone please explain this to me

From NFL.com "The pylon is regarded as out of bounds when touched by any part of a player's body. If the ball breaks the plane or touches the pylon before a runner is out of bounds, it is a touchdown."

Someone please explain this to me

On Heinekin's TD, he lunges the ball forward and the nose of the ball hits the side of the pylon facing him. Not the inside of the pylon, the front side. Pylons are placed out of bounds. Why is this a TD. How is that breaking the plain? If any piece hits the inside of the pylon, I get it, breaks...

    TNF

Thanks for the info. I know no one on Twitter will want to consider it but I'm with you, it sounds like the fans weren't booing the unity they were booing the Texans.

    TNF

And there was no booing during the anthems towards the KC players?

    TNF

Thanks. Were the Chiefs in the field for either anthem?

    TNF

Can't find the details of the pre-game, so a few questions... 1.) They played 2 anthems? Was the other one the "black national anthem"? 2.) The Texans weren't on the field for either? What about the Chiefs? 3.) When did the teams lineup and lock arms?

    TNF

Either anthem? So the locking arms was after the anthem?

    TNF

Yesterday was our wedding anniversary so we went out for dinner. Missed the entire game. All I see on Twitter this morning about it is that the KC fans booed when the players locked arms. How bad was it? How many were in attendance?

    Doesn't feel real

Maybe it's just that I've been all-in on lacrosse over the Summer and into the Fall season, with my son moving on to a club team (and I'm coaching). Normally at this point I've been inundated with NFL news but it's been very secondary for me to this point.

    Doesn't feel real

Anyone else feel like the start of this NFL season just doesn't feel real. 🤨

Anyone else having issues with the site

I saw this start at the same time. It happens on my phone when I'm in the true view mode, not when I can see the text/code. For example, if the options above your post while typing are all grayed out such as the Bold, Italic, etc and only the setting icon is available/orange then you won't get...

    Great Super Bowl

The SB MVP has lost all credibility. Who actually decides it? Because I haven't seen/heard one person today say Mahomes was more deserving than Williams.

    Tua

"You know" and "Like". Not just him all those young whipper snappers. Drives me crazy too.

    Eli Manning is....

As a Pats fan I'm usually hesitant to give any opinion on Eli, feeling it will just come across as sour grapes but I have a hard time seeing how a .500 QB is a HOFer. Yes, "he" came up big in the SB wins, but Tyree's catch was miraculous not Eli's throw. Like a lot of other QBs (including Brady)...

NFL 2019, week 15 in, out and other news

So deep that the NFL allowed Fox to air the video, so that any future opponent of the Bengals could also get that insightful sideline info? The Patriots organization hired this videographer to film/create a tv show. Whether he knew the rule or not that you can't film the sideline is no defense...
